Ikea=too many options; too many options=uncertainty; uncertainty=stress
i bought a chair. and curtains, and candles. the candles were about the only thing that didn't stress me out. :) Ikea kinda overwhelmed me, as well as the fact that i was buying "big" things, like furniture.... and now i have to keep it! what do i do when i move? but at least it's a cool chair... :)

Congratulations on your furniture purchase!
I'll tell you what you do when you move...you borrow trucks from unwilling friends who are always used to move people (or finally rent a U-Haul after you get smart about it); you lug all your heavy crap up and down stairs, in and out of doorways until your arms are so tired that you are shaking and almost dropping stuff; you laugh histerically at midnight when you and your sister DO actually drop stuff; you recruit friends to help, but you have to let go of your idea of keeping furniture "unblemished"; this whole process takes a period of several days because ghetto moves are never fast; and, by the end--people hate you, you look really uptight to everyone but yourself and have "barked" at your loved ones, you are dead tired and sick of your stuff, etc.
My experiential advice...start saving up now to hire professional movers! :P I'm not even playin...
